Encrypted Data
All data sent to and from the platform is encrypted with TLS/SSL. Your personal info is stored securely, encrypted at rest.
Stripe Payment Protection
We never store your credit card info. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor.
Secure Client Portal
Your appraisal reports are delivered through an authenticated client portal. Only you and your appraiser have access to it.

Additional protections
E&O Insurance
Licensed appraisers carry Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance, which protects you in the unlikely event of a professional oversight. You can verify an appraiser's insurance status on their profile.
Payment Holds
Your payment is authorized but not fully captured until the appraiser begins work. If the order is canceled before that point, you are not charged. This protects you from paying for work that hasn't started.
Transparent Reviews
All client reviews are from verified, completed orders. We do not allow fake reviews or paid testimonials. You can trust that the ratings you see reflect real client experiences.
USPAP Compliance
All appraisals conducted through HomeVault follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), ensuring the highest level of professional standards and ethics.
