We've spent years close to this work, and we kept seeing the same thing: good appraisers with no good way to reach the people who need them, and people facing real decisions with no good way to find a professional they could trust.

Our positioning
HomeVault is for non-lending appraisals only. Estates, divorce, tax appeal, pre-listing, private sales, and the other work people order directly, not through a bank or a lender.
That's a deliberate choice. Most appraisal work in this country runs through mortgage lenders, wrapped in layers of regulation built for that world. We stepped outside it on purpose. It keeps the work simple and direct: between you and the appraiser, with no lender in the middle, no pipeline, no conflicting interests. Just an independent professional giving you an honest opinion of value.
